time for some news from another dedicated Kiwi digger Kieran Liddicoat in the lower North Is. (the x-up dude with the wood in his hands) by the sounds a things he's been busy "I think there's about 8 of us digging now. Me and Phil (the guy t-down'in) are the main guys and the groms usually come up when we go up. The blonde girl Ellie does help out a bit and is slowly learning the ways of the shovel". Now ya don't see that much girls riding & digging at the trails, i'd be psyched on that for sure. The Burrow's been soooo wet this winter with all the insane rain they've been getting slammed with, but the reward was in sight with no rain for a bit they were able to roast it some, keep up the good work lads & happy digging!
Cam tabo'n his way over the crown range to lismore? I never seen that b4, it's gotta beat driving for an hour tho hahahha!

A big 'ol crew a lads from the Gorge Road trails scene rocked over for one of the funnest busiest sessions so far this winter at Lismore aka L.D.P. (Lismore Dirt Park more on this shortly) on weekend. A Queenstown take over bid hahha so rad to see a big crew on the dig buzz helping dail in the 6th on MOTO by adding a bomb hole to help lengthen the tranny some...........thanks to everyone who helped out! Many hands make light work oh yeah & the reward is so RAD!
i like tree's but a few lads got way too close to huggin that big 'ol tree to the left of the roller on sunday, yup scary shit my bars were about a 6 inches away from it most runs haha so it's time to approach the council about removing it b4 someone ends up in a wheelchair or worse DEAD you kno what i'm say'in!
Jared added that little speed bump jump thang 2 the start of the last 180 berm on MOTO, what about move it to the centre, shape it like the 1st berm so ya can jump down into the last berm or take the hi line thru the 1st berm to last berm?

tools, power & sounds on wheels, so drink loads a COFFEE, get involved in u'r trails scene so plant those seeds & watch 'em grow! Dig trails or go to the pub............TRAILS ARE SCREAM'IN yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeew!

No rain is due here for over a week so enjoy the week ahead down it's gonna be so good to roll every day, golden hour goodtimes it's to dark to roll by 6:30pm, so ya squeeze as many runs in as ya can like a desperate dirt junky does hahha! Dan got the digger into Lismore on Saturday just gone (check the pics) an re-stacked a couple a berms. The last berm's a work in progress tho....the big lines gonna be dialed soon, an the diggers back in there this weekend coming to build up some landings & lengthen a few gaps....so all you local Wanaka riders be at lismore this Sat 22 May, 10 am till dark, they'll be heaps to do, help fix stuff up & ride some! The tunes will be cranked!

Winter is fast approaching down here, mornings are frosty & days are shorter so it seemed like a good time to take a look at lismore public jump park, which has had no love for over 3 months & has been pretty trashed by ratty kids & big kids! Yup there's 2 taps & plenty a hose but no one really knows how to use a hose or broom for that matter, plain lazy & lame as! KEEP IT WATERED & DON'T RUN IT DRY FOOLS or it just falls apart! So yesterday Pete, Ollie & I got in there at about 10am with coffee, brooms, bmx's, tunes, new hose fittings an got stuck in! (it's amazing how people leave real quick when tools come out) By mid arvo we got to have some rolls till dark, a few beers & a dam goodtime! Whats real funny tho is how word spreads in a small town an everyone else turns up when the work is done...so GAY, no homos allowed Ha!
this Saturday 24th April work bee @ Lismore! We all use this place so we need to keep it running sweet & tidy! Bring all ya folks BROOMS, RAKES, FLATHEADS & wheel barrows ie heaps a sweeping to do & crap to load into the wheel barrows/dirt to move to patch shit up/build up ie berms rollers etc etc
Most the lips are rounded off, ya get rattled to hell roll'in in.....so basicly this saturday we gonna get stuck in, fix some stuff up, plan the winter fix/new stuff, so all you WANAKA LOCALS come help out if ya wana roll some dirt all winter, or you'll be banned hahha nah we'll just heckle your ass's hard out! It won't be long now b4 Nath chains up the Gorge till next season! So pull that finger out ya ass dudes as that sk8 park is already getting mad permafrost in the bowls already now that's scary shit & it's still only April so it's gonna get worse.
