-TRAILS? Unfortunately i don't have any trails, my most local would be jarrods as I've ridden them 3 in 9 months. Yeah Sad.I have helped dig a bit at a real dope spot, but i just can't gety down there enough to feel like I'm making an impact, which for me really sucks.
4.DESCRIBE THE WAY YOU RIDE IN ONE WORD? old.5.YOUR LOCAL SCENE IN GOOD SHAPE-PARK? WHAT ABOUT TRAILS? Local riding scene is strong. Trails are non existent, there is some effort but its just not happening without private land.
6.IF YOU COULD GO TO ANY SPOT IN THE WORLD TO RIDE & HELP DIG,WHERE WOULD IT BE-PARK? TRAILS? WHY? My own spot, if we were allowed to keep them.
7.IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY FEATURE YOU WANTED AT YOUR LOCAL PARK/TRAILS ,WHAT WOULD IT BE? Jumps. Made from dirt.
8.HOW OFTEN DO YOU GET YOUR SHOES MUDDY DIGGING? For a long time everyday my boots would have been real muddy, in fact i have so many pairs of fairly brand new vans that i don't wear cause they are caked in clay. ill wash em one day.I'm lazy when i get back from digging.9.DO YOU OWN YOUR OWN SHOVEL/SPADE? I own about 10 shovels all varieties all long handled a couple of picks a really fat crow bar a wheel barrow, rakes plastic and metal, i got all the gear I'm just missing a local spot to use them at.
10.WE ALL KNOW THERE IS HANDFUL OF WRITTEN/UNWRITTEN RULES OF ETIQUETTE SURROUNDING TRAILS PARTICULARLY,PROBABLY BECAUSE OF THE AMOUNT OF WORK THAT GOES INTO THEM COMPARED TO CONCRETE......DO YOU BELIEVE THIS ETIQUETTE IS A GOOD THING? ie "NO DIG NO RIDE" OR THE IDEA OF "BREAK IT FIX IT" POLICY'S THAT ALLOT OF TRAILS HAVE IN PLACE........DOES IT ENHANCE OR HINDER?? I have dished out my fair share of sea spray over the years, But i have learnt over time you need to be positive to keep dudes keen, dudes work for a living so they don't need to feel like the trails is a 2nd job, it just puts them off it, we all know its hard work and what not so I try to focus young dudes on how much fun its gonna be, blah blah.
11.WHAT IS YOU FAVORITE TIME OF THE DAY TO RIDE? Glory hour, the short period where the sun drops and the day turns to night.
12.TYRES ON YOUR BIKE.....ALL ROUNDERS OR SPECIFIC?? Dirt monster front, V monster rear all rounders really but great trail tyres.
13.WHAT HAS BEEN CHALLENGING YOU LATELY? STUNTS & TRICKS? POLITICS IN YA SCENE OR JUST SHIT WEATHER? The fact that every spot i have ever built or helped build has been dozed, at least 10 good spots. The fact that i'm 33 and have dug my whole life and still have nothing to show for it, not a single fucking jump. I say a big FUCK YOU to the ACT government, FUCK YOU.
